Providing Labor Doula, Childbirth Education Classes, and Placenta Encapsulation Services

The first time I met Sabbath, I was struck with how personable and warm she was. We ended our first meeting with a hug, and for me that sealed the deal on hiring her. At each of our pre-natal visits Sabbath brought a wealth of information to the table. She was so thorough and knew just what topics to discuss to help both my husband and I feel prepared and excited for the natural childbirth experience that we wanted. Sabbath was worth her weight in gold for the way she was able to incorporate my husband in the birthing process and help him to be an informed and eager participant. She was also the first to introduce me to the idea of Babywearing, an idea which I've taken hold of with a passion with my now two month old son.
When the big day finally came, my labor was hard and fast and Sabbath wonderfully jumped right in massaging my back in the birthing tub and speaking words of encouragement and love to me. As a first time mother, and with my labor progressing so fast, I feared that I didn't know what to do. Sabbath was there for me to guide me and help me and I was able to give birth naturally just how I wanted! My experience was one that I can fondly look back on, and I'm glad she was there with me.

I wanted to write you a Thank You note for being there for me during my extremely long labor, but a Thank You note just doesn’t seem like enough. I am having a hard time putting into words the gratification and love I feel toward you for your unbelievably strong and encouraging support during my entire laboring process.
When you first asked me if I was planning on hiring a doula for the birth of my child, I thought, what do I need a doula for? Then, when I talked to you I thought, ok, a doula might be pretty cool. Now, thinking back over my entire birth experience, there is absolutely no way I could have made it as far as I did without you there. You were so positive and so encouraging through the entire 50 plus hours of labor and 5 hours of pushing. You are exactly what I needed.
My only regret is that I didn’t have you there for the birth of my son 3 years earlier. You are a truly amazing woman and doula and I wish you the best.
